THINGS TO KNOW:
-Please remember to respect the environment and pack out your trash to preserve the pristine surroundings.
- Chains may be required Winter months
- PLEASE BE AWARE THAT SOME ROADS/TRAILS ARE CLOSED SEASONALLY BUT ARE ACCESSIBLE BY SNOWSHOES/SNOWMOBILES (FOREST SERVICE OFTEN LEAVES CLOSURE SIGNS UP PAST EXPIRATION DATES AND DO NOT UPDATE THEIR WEBSITE, MESSAGE US AND WELL DO OUR BEST TO ANSWER TRAIL QUESTIONS.) If you ask a local they won't really know either because they have not taken the time to ask the forest service like we have.
-A-frame is located in Sequoia National Monument (not park). There are no cabins in Giant Sequoia National Park that is why the monument is great as we are 5 minutes from the big trees, trails and dogs are allowed on trails
