-This home is located a short ferry away from the Channel Islands National Park.
-This is a downstairs unit to a duplex.

First AirBnB I have ever booked and I highly recommend the property. A high bar was set! The views were amazing. The accommodations were sparkling clean. The place is warm, inviting and stylish. The upstairs unit has great views of both the harbor and mountains, including a boardwalk out front for people watching. Everything indoors seemed functional and clean. There is a nice beach just steps from the front door too! We loved the outside cabana....great place to spend evenings visiting by the fire. It would have been an added bonus to have a couple more restaurants and a nice coffee shop within walking distance.

If anything, Valerie's description of her home is understated. This is a gorgeous place with all the amenities of home. The location is superb - a 2 minute walk to a great family beach. She gave some great local tips and was great with communication. If we are ever in the Oxnard area again we would love to stay here a second time.

We stayed at Valerie’s place in late September, and we had an incredible time. We already loved the area, however Valerie’s place allowed us quick access and beautiful ocean air, in a lovely setting. It was great to be able to relax and enjoy the beaches, without the stress of driving home that day. We definitely plan to stay there again!

This was our first time using Airbnb, and we were pleasantly surprised by our host Valerie and the Dolphin House. A cozy indoor space as well as great outdoor space for grilling and sitting. And the location of this place is unbelievable - literally next to an ocean bay, between a “kid’s beach” and a “big” beach - so you can take your pick. Playgrounds and restaurants that are family friendly are also very close by. Great experience!

Fantastic space steps from the beach! We stayed at Valerie’s place with our 1 and 4 year old sons and we all loved our stay. The beach was much closer than we expected it to be, the space was clean and welcoming. Our 4 year old loved the bunk beds!

Our work crew stayed at Valerie's home. They were very comfortable and very happy with their stay. After a long day working outside, they said the home felt very peaceful and relaxing. They loved going to the beach afterwards too since it was so close. Would definitely book again. We may even book for our personal use since my husband loved it so much.
