Great Place!

Valerie is a great host ! I would recommend staying here 10/10.

The location is great! Street parking can be difficult on Sundays because of the amazing location. We loved the cabana and host was amazing with communication. Great place for a weekend getaway.

My expectations were exceeded because it was better than the pictures! Wonderful stay and it was perfect for our family gathering!

The place is warm, inviting and stylish. The upstairs unit has great views of both the harbor and mountains, including a boardwalk out front for people watching. Everything indoors seemed functional and clean. There is a nice beach just steps from the front door too! We loved the outside cabana....great place to spend evenings visiting by the fire. It would have been an added bonus to have a couple more restaurants and a nice coffee shop within walking distance.

We stayed at Valerie’s place in late September, and we had an incredible time. We already loved the area, however Valerie’s place allowed us quick access and beautiful ocean air, in a lovely setting. It was great to be able to relax and enjoy the beaches, without the stress of driving home that day. We definitely plan to stay there again!

Stayed here in March 2018. Lovely apartment, very clean, great for friends gathering & close walk to beach. Valerie was a great host, good communication & thoughtful. Great place to stay, would recommend.

Fantastic space steps from the beach! We stayed at Valerie’s place with our 1 and 4 year old sons and we all loved our stay. The beach was much closer than we expected it to be, the space was clean and welcoming. Our 4 year old loved the bunk beds!

This is my second stay with Valerie! She’s such a great host. I love her place and I can’t wait to come back.

Our work crew stayed at Valerie's home. They were very comfortable and very happy with their stay. After a long day working outside, they said the home felt very peaceful and relaxing. They loved going to the beach afterwards too since it was so close. Would definitely book again. We may even book for our personal use since my husband loved it so much.

The dolphin house is ideally located for day trips to Channel Islands. We really enjoyed our comfortable stay here with our little kids :)

Cozy and comfy space. Lots of care has been taken of this little home. Valerie was quick to respond and help out with anything we needed.

Great place directly on the beach. Nice common area with BBQ and fire pit..plus cabana. Would stay again.

This was our first time using Airbnb, and we were pleasantly surprised by our host Valerie and the Dolphin House. A cozy indoor space as well as great outdoor space for grilling and sitting. And the location of this place is unbelievable - literally next to an ocean bay, between a “kid’s beach” and a “big” beach - so you can take your pick. Playgrounds and restaurants that are family friendly are also very close by. Great experience!

Definitely recommend! Valerie’s home was beautiful, clean, and comfy! Cannot beat that upstairs view! Valerie’s communication was exceptional! She is an excellent and host!

If anything, Valerie's description of her home is understated. This is a gorgeous place with all the amenities of home. The location is superb - a 2 minute walk to a great family beach. She gave some great local tips and was great with communication. If we are ever in the Oxnard area again we would love to stay here a second time.

Such a cute place. Location is a skip and a jump from an amazing beach! You fall asleep listening to seals and wake up with dolphins. Perfectly located.

Great place to stay!

We had an amazing stay! The dolphin house is not only beautiful inside and out, but you’re steps away from a gorgeous sandy beach that is perfect for surfing, collecting shells or just relaxing! I would recommend Valerie’s place to anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway!

First AirBnB I have ever booked and I highly recommend the property. A high bar was set! The views were amazing. The accommodations were sparkling clean. The beach house was decorated with with much charm and comfort. Extremely friendly fast communication from Valerie from the time of booking until check out.
