Beachside Retreat

This house exceeded all expectations. Perfect beach house minutes away from the beach. Clean, modern and with a friendly and helpful home owner. No complaints whatsoever. We'll be returning for sure!

Located in a cozy neighborhood and a rock throw away from the beach this Airbnb was amazing. Place was an enjoyable stay for my friends over Memorial Day weekend. Would highly recommend!

What can I say ! We couldn’t have wished for a better property to stay in for our holiday ! The location , the house , the facilities were all amazing ! Having stuff we could use for the beach was amazing and the house felt like a home in no time . The communication was amazing and we literally can’t wait to book and come again ! We travelled from the uk so to arrive in such a beautiful home to a bottle of wine and lovely beds was amazing . Can’t recommend enough ! Thank you J and family !

Everything was great. Location was perfect and how worked well for family of 4 with 2 young kids. It was clean and well stocked with pillows and towels. Quick easy communication back and forth. Would definitely stay again next Ventura trip.

We enjoyed our time just a few minutes walk from the ocean. The house was comfortable, clean with thoughtful amenities. The neighborhood was quiet and safe with short walks to the grocery store and coffee. We had a great time with family.

This was such a lovely place. Pictures are accurate and it just felt so quaint and welcoming. The decor, paint colors, furnishings and lots of extras made this top notch. We were really appreciative of all the beach gear, paddle board, surf board, cooler, towels, chairs, umbrellas etc etc and even a wagon to haul it all with. We used the 4 bikes to explore. Beds were comfortable. The patio is such a great space and adds so much to the house. The beach just down the isle was great. Perfect for boogie boarding and shallow for a long ways so the kids could feel safe doing it on their own. The park and beach at the harbor just a few blocks down was great as well . We loved paddle boarding around there end seeing all the houses on the harbor. We loved staying local for several days and enjoying the beach, logged lots of runs down to the pier at the public beach boardwalk . Also loved the proximity to Carpenteria and Santa Barbara. Loved exploring these areas as well. We’d definitely come back!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home! The decor was very charming and clean. Kitchen was well equipped and outdoor patio was AWESOME! Lush plants surrounding plenty of seating for bbq, late night fire talk etc. Beach is less than 5 min walk for beautiful sunset. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We stayed at this home with another couple for the 'guys' two day golf tournament in Ventura. It was everything we could've hoped for! It's just up the street from beach access. The home was well equipped and plenty spacious. The backyard was amazing with an abundance of seating, a table for eating, a glass fire pit, and several umbrellas. The garage was well stocked with bicycles and all sorts of beach supplies, but still had enough room for two mid sized SUVs to park. Evenings in the backyard after a walk to the beach for sunset was a perfect way to end each day. We liked it so much that the day we got home (yesterday) we already booked it for our next trip to Ventura in August!! Jon the owner was fantastic too! Can't wait to return.

Our stay was amazing. The house is beautifully decorated and well maintained with a peaceful beach vibe throughout. I loved the touches like the packed beach wagon, basket of blankets (for chilly weather), outdoor shower and shoe basket. Plus, the fire pit was a welcome respite from our day at the beach at days end. It was a perfect family vacation. Everyone (ages 12 - 82) had a great time. The owners were also very responsive. Looking forward to returning!

We truly enjoyed this VRBO! It was spotless and very well-equipped with all of the amenities we needed in the living space, kitchen, bathroom and for the beach. We loved the outdoor space--there is tons of room to eat, read, relax, stretch out and play. The location is great, it is just a minute's walk to the beach and there are lots of other things to check out nearby.

Was in town for local marathon race. 4 of us stayed at this home and it was perfect. Very clean, had everything we needed. Loved the private patio. 2 car garage was terrific and convenient.

This is a great spot. You can’t beat the location, right down the street from the beach. It is also great for families with young kids. We were traveling with three little ones 4 and under. There are a ton of nice touches for kids like beach toys, twin beds, child safety locks on cabinets, and puzzles/toys. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Ventura and would highly recommend the property.

Clean, stylish beach house in a quiet neighborhood located a 2 minute walk from the beach. Great backyard space for lounging and dinners. Very communicative hosts. This will always be the first place we try to stay at when in Ventura.

We were thrilled to be the first guests to stay here after Sunny Days took over this property. The house is clean and inviting, and less than a minute's walk to the sand. The neighbors and neighborhood are great, and Sunny Days was extremely responsive to our requests, including our request for a Pack N Play for our infant. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

Our family of four loved our stay at this house. It was so close to the beach, and the house had everything we needed. We love cooking on our vacations, and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, cookware, etc. It also had a great grill outback and a perfect spot to eat outside. We also enjoyed being able to walk to the grocery store, Starbucks, and local restaurants. If you are looking for a relaxing home to enjoy Ventura and the beach, this is the perfect spot. Thanks for allowing us to spend our vacation at your rental.

This was actually the second time we stayed at the property over the last few months. It is a really great setup and just works really well for our family with three young kids. We’ll definitely stay again in the future next time we are in Ventura.

Lovely home only a very short walk to the beach. Great neighborhood, plenty of food and supply options within walking distance and minutes form downtown Ventura by car. Clean and charming home with a well-supplied kitchen. Lots of extras like bikes, boogie boards, surfboard, beach chairs and such available for use. The hosts are always extremely responsive to any questions or problems. You want to stay here!

Fantastic location! Very comfortable and safe. Home has everything you'd need to enjoy hanging out at the beach. Owner was super quick to respond to any questions. Plus lots of little extras for when you arrive! From a stocked fridge to great cookware and cutlery. Makes eating in super easy. We really enjoyed our stay in Ventura. Even a trip to the ER, didn't dampen our mood!

This is our second stay in this darling property. Could not imagine staying anywhere else when in Ventura. This house is clean, comfortable and has indoor parking! The location is fabulous- close to cute, delicious restaurants and a 1/2 block from the beach! Very walkable to anything you might need. The owners get back to you ASAP should you need to contact them. We'll be back next year!

This is now the third time I’ve stayed here with my family in the last year. If you are looking for a place in Ventura close to the beach, you should stop looking and book this place. Perfect location, stocked with anything you might need for the beach, and a great setup for kids. We can’t wait to come back.

The house is small, but well laid out. The decor is cool, modern beach. The kitchen overlooks a lovely tropical backyard with comfortable seating. The beach is a two minute walk! Lovely!

Loved our beach weekend even though it rained the whole time. The house is comfy and bright with everything we needed! I’m fairly picky and this place was clean and plenty large enough for the 4 of us. The heater seemed to have a mind of its own coming on at sporadic times but they had space heaters which were perfect! Thank you for a great weekend!!

Nice home within walking distance to the beach. Well appointed kitchen and great outdoor patio with many areas to sit and hang out. Bikes were an added plus as there are beach bike paths nearby. We were a family of 7 with plenty of room. I would recommend this place to families with small kids as well as teenagers. One level home good for people with less mobility. Very nice beach bungalow-highly recommend!

We love Ventura and this particular house has become special to us. We are repeat guests and love the location and make good use of the beautiful back patio and toys in the garage. This is our third time staying at this fabulous home, and it has been perfect every time. It is clean, well decorated, perfectly appointed, and has all the amenities you will ever need. It is less than half a block from the beach and close to everything in town. Looking forward to coming back!

This is our second time visiting this house during summer break. We’ve very much enjoyed our stays. The house is well-appointed and tastefully decorated. The beds and living room couches are very comfortable and I appreciated the quality bathroom toiletries (like a good hotel =). We enjoyed the backyard seating areas, grill and fire pit. We also made good use of the bikes and boogie boards in the garage and took in the local community. It was a beautiful and relaxing week and we look forward to returning. The one thing I would say is that the rugs in the house and the sofa cover are looking a bit more peaked from use and normal wear and tear. They are beautiful light colors that contribute to the breezy beachy and peaceful aesthetic of the house so they are bound to get dirty but could use a cleaning. Other than that minor thing, I highly recommend this house for your Ventura beach vacation!

We all had the best time this weekend! Everything from the VRBO listing was accurate, owners were super accommodating and quick to reply, and the house was so cute and the perfect distance from the ocean. Will definitely be back!

Perfect beach house rental. Well equipped and extra amenities! Beach towels, bikes everything you need especially when coming from East Coast and can’t bring those things!

We had so much fun with our teenage grandsons. The unit is super cute, clean and close to the beach.

We had a great time at this bungalow in Pierpont - it was cozy, comfortable, bright/clean, and indeed just steps from the beach. Great set-up for a family weekend; our small kids loved it. The hosts were very responsive and kind. We'll definitely be back!

Very nice house. Mediterranean charm, very clean, roomy, garage with ping pong table and dart board. Comfortable beds. Walk to downtown restaurants & shops, and walk to beach. Excellent neighborhood market across the street with freah baked bread and awesome wine selection.

Three adults and 1 two year old boy stayed here for 7 nights. It was perfect for our needs especially the very safe fenced garden where he could happily play for hours. The kitchen was nicely stocked and bedding was comfortable. Rooms not large but adequate. Would happily stay again!

Wonderful experience. Beautiful property with lots of kitchen supplies. Extra fun things in the garage such as bicycles and boogie boards Ian’s sand toys . The owner was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place. Wonderful location. Easy quick walk to a beautiful beach.

This property was perfect for our family of 4. The teens had their own room and were able to spread out at the beach or backyard. Every morning we enjoyed a short walk to Starbucks or the Pierpoint downtown area. Our teens took in daily boogie boarding with the wetsuits and boards provided. This house thought of every detail when it comes to outdoor fun - bikes, sand toys, beach chairs, surf board, wetsuits, etc. Such a comfortable home with beds that we slept very well in. Tasteful decore for a beach home and a two minute walk to the water. Weather is always great in Ventura so no excuses to not be outside. We will stay at this VRBO again!

The house is in a great location just a quick walk to the beach. It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. My daughter enjoyed the riding the scooter to the beach every morning to look for sea glass. Thank you for a great stay.

We came out to Ventura with family over Xmas. The property was perfect for our stay. It is well appointed and has all the required spaces for a family. The kitchen had everything for cooking Xmas meals. The beds were comfy and it has a fabulous outdoor space behind the house. Great experience !!
